Desembocadura del río Bío-bío.

Esta desembocadura corresponde al río Bío-bío, luego de recorrer 380 km hasta llegar a  Hualpén. El río termina en una hermosa playa de 300 metros de extensión, por uno de sus extremos hay arena negra, por el otro, un bello panorama de las tranquilas aguas del río Biobío donde se une con el Océano Pacífico.

El lugar es muy visitado por familias, parejas y amigos, ya que se pueden realizar muchas actividades tales como pesca de orilla y picnics, además, se realizan deportes como el ciclismo, motociclismo, flysurfing y surf a vela.

Esta desembocadura fue, por muchos años, la frontera entre mapuches y españoles.

This mouth corresponds to Bio-Bio River, after traveling 380 km until it reaches Hualpén. The river ends in a beautiful beach which is 300 meters long. At one end there is black sand; on the other, a beautiful panorama of the calm waters of the river plus the beauty of the exact place where it joins the Pacific Ocean.

The place is mostly visited by families, couples and friends, and you can carry out many activities such as shore fishing and picnics. In addition you can practice sports like cycling , motorcycling, flysurfing and windsurfing.

This mouth was , for many years, a natural frontier between Mapuches and Spaniards.
